EFT - Emotional Freedom Therapy or Emotional Freedom Technique - is a ‘meridian’ therapy, which stimulates the acupuncture meridians on your body to release negative emotions that are stored in the body and are connected to memories and patterns. We ‘feel’ emotions in the body – muscles will tighten when we are stressed, for example.
We know that there is a powerful and scientifically proven link between the mind and the body. If you think of something frightening, your body will react by firing off the fight or flight response. Conversely, if you exercise your body, your brain will produce neurotransmitters like Serotonin.
We know that placebo drugs are effective and that some physical conditions are psychosomatic. Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and NLP work with the mind to change the emotional responses and behaviours we experience in the body. Meridian therapies work with the body to free undesired patterns in the mind, and associated emotional responses.
It is a useful and effective complement to the thinking-oriented disciplines of other therapies.
Chinosis

Chinosis is a very powerful technique, developed by leading hypnotist, Jonathan Chase. It combines the neuro-symbolism of the subconscious mind (also used in hypnosis), with gentle stimulation of the major acupuncture meridian points. All emotions are linked to memories and patterns, and Chinosis works on this connection to release negative emotions, neutralise negative patterns, and achieve inner balance. This is very effective in clearing emotional and mental blockages. The combination of hypnosis-based neuro-symbolism and EFT or TFT (Thought Field Therapy) meridian stimulation is what makes this a more efficient meridian therapy.
