Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy
APHP is an exclusive body, based in the UK but with world-wide membership, dedicated to maintaining a high standard of professionalism amongst its members, all of whom are fully covered by professional indemnity insurance and committed to ongoing training and professional development. It is only possible to join the Association and the directories via invitation or training by an accredited college.
General Hypnotherapy Register
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) is the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council's (GHSC's) registering agency for individual practising Hypnotherapists in the UK. The site contains the names and contact details of all GHR practitioners, and also includes the GHSC's common Code of Ethics.
General Hypnotherapy Standards Council
The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council is the professional body for hypnotherapists in the UK, and includes codes of ethics, complaints procedures, and information on hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy Association
The Hypnotherapy Association is the professional organisation in the UK representing hypnotherapists in active practice. Includes information about hypnotherapy and hypnosis including ethics, training and courses.
British Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming
The professional body in Britain for Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Holds a professional register of NLP practitioners and promotes NLP in the UK.
Global Organisation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming
Aligned to the British Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), promoting NLP on a global basis.
European Therapy Studies Institute
The European Therapy Studies Institute is a multi-disciplinary organisation, founded in 1992, with a remit to gather, study and publish information on therapeutic method and practice.
ETSI has over 700 members including a group of active researchers and people who joined to register their support for its aims and be part of the movement towards a more objective and scientifically holistic approach to therapy.
